Notifications cover work handed to you, approvals waiting on you, and anything that went wrong. This page covers what you are told about and where it reaches you.

The list

The bell in the header carries an unread count and opens the recent list; View all opens the full page. There you can switch between All and Unread, mark a single item read, or Mark all read. Items are grouped by when they happened, newest first, and each one names where it came from and when — Support · Aug 23, Platform status · Aug 25. Marking something read only tidies the list. It decides nothing: work waiting on your sign-off stays in Review until you decide it.

What you get told about

Open Settings → Notifications. The page is a grid — one row per kind of thing that happens, one column per way of reaching you.

Where each one arrives

Three columns, and a switch where a row and a column meet:
  • In the app — the bell and the notifications list.
  • Email — sent as it happens.
  • Text — kept for the two things that cannot wait: waiting on your yes and publishing went wrong. Every other row shows a dash instead of a switch, because it does not send texts at all. Texts start once your phone is verified.
Turn off what you do not need. Each switch is its own decision: turning off In the app stops that kind from reaching the bell and the list too, not just your email. Work waiting on your decision is safe either way — it sits in Review until you decide it, whatever you switch off here.

One email as a summary

Under the grid, email as one summary instead collects your notifications into a single message on the cadence you pick. It is one choice for all of it, not one per row: off, every morning, or Mondays. The summary is its own switch — choosing a cadence does not turn off the Email column. Rows whose Email switch stays on keep emailing as things happen; turn those off if the summary is all you want. If you are getting too much email, move to a summary before you start switching rows off.

Your settings, and everyone else’s

These are your own — everyone picks their own, and changing yours does not change what a colleague receives. If you are an owner or an admin, you also set what new people start with: the choice new members of the account begin from. It is a starting point, not a rule — anyone can change their own afterwards, and changing the default does not overwrite a choice someone has already made. You can also set the address account email is sent to, if it should not be the one you sign in with.
