# Meet Goosy

> Who Goosy is, what he prepares, what he hands back, and the things he never decides for you.

**Goosy** is the teammate you work with inside Goosy Bear. He is one assistant
across the whole product — the same Goosy who plans your week is the one who
drafts a post, the one who finds a file, and the one who helps when something
goes wrong. There is no separate bot for support and no second assistant to
learn.

He is a bear with a goose bill, he is warm and a little mischievous, and he is
extremely good at the part of marketing nobody wants to do twice.

## You decide. Goosy does.

That is the whole arrangement, and it is worth being precise about it:

Goosy does not need a perfectly worded request. Ask him the way you would ask a
capable colleague — *"put together three posts about the new service"* — and he
will come back with work, plus the two or three decisions he needs from you.

## How you reach him

Goosy is on every screen. Ask him from the search entry in the header, from a
surface you are standing on, or from the empty state of anything you have not
filled in yet — asking from a surface gives him the context of where you are,
so you do not have to describe it.

He can reach what you can reach, and nothing else. If you cannot see a
workspace, he cannot read it for you.

## What he prepares — and hands back

For anything with a consequence, Goosy works to a plan you can see before it
runs. He tells you what he intends to do, you accept or change it, and then he
does it. Work he produces lands where you can review it — the [review
queue](/work/reviews) for content, [the schedule](/work/schedule) for anything with a
date — rather than going straight out.

## What he never decides

Some things never happen because an assistant decided they should. Whatever you
ask, and however you phrase it, Goosy will not:

* publish something on his own
* spend past the limit you set for him
* delete a workspace, an account, or your material
* grant, change or remove anyone's access
* cancel your plan or issue a refund
* tell you a balance, a charge or a price from memory

Spending is the one of those you shape rather than simply have. You decide
whether Goosy asks about every cost or works within a monthly budget you set —
either way, crossing the line you drew stops the work and brings it to you. See

The money-figures rule is deliberate rather than a limitation: amounts are read
from your billing pages, which is the one place they are accurate, and Goosy
points you there rather than reciting a number back to you.

If what you need is one of those things, say so. Goosy will get it in front of
a person instead of trying to classify it himself.

## Why it works this way

An assistant that could quietly spend your money or change your access would be
useful right up until the moment it was wrong. Keeping the consequential things
behind a person is what makes the rest of it safe to hand over — which is the
point of having him at all.
