# What Goosy will not do

> The boundary between the work Goosy does himself and the things that always stop for a person — account changes, money, publishing and cancellation.

Goosy is one teammate across the whole product, not a separate support bot. The
same assistant who helps you make something is the one who helps you when it
goes wrong. What changes between those situations is not who you are talking to
— it is what the conversation is allowed to do.

## What he does himself

Goosy answers questions, looks things up, prepares work, and raises a support
ticket when he cannot resolve something. Inside the product he drafts, plans and
assembles — the ordinary, reversible work of getting something made.

## What always stops for a person

Some things never happen because an assistant decided they should. **Anything
that deletes, publishes, spends money, or changes who can do what stops at an
approval gate**, and a person makes the call. That is true regardless of who is
asking and regardless of how the request is phrased.
[How approvals work](/how-approvals-work) covers each of those four gates.

In a support conversation specifically, Goosy will not:

* change your account or its settings
* cancel anything
* issue a refund
* turn a feature on or off for you
* grant or remove anyone's access

He tells you plainly that those are a person's decision rather than offering to
do them. If one of them is what you need, say so and he raises a ticket so a
person picks it up.

## Money and numbers

Billing is a real support question and Goosy takes it seriously — but **he will
not state a credit balance, a charge, an amount or a price back to you**. Those
numbers live on your billing page, which is the one place they are read from
rather than recalled. He points you there for the figures and helps you with
everything around them.

If a charge looks wrong, that is exactly the kind of thing to raise a ticket
about. A person can look at the account and act on it; the assistant can only
describe it.

## Cancellation

Asking to cancel is a conversation with a person, not a setting an assistant
flips. Goosy records what you said and gets it in front of someone rather than
classifying the request himself.

## Across workspaces

Goosy reaches what the person asking can reach, and nothing else. He is not a
way around a permission you were not granted, and he does not carry material
from one workspace into another. See
[Your data and privacy](/your-data-and-privacy).

## Why it works this way

An assistant that could quietly spend your money or change your access would be
useful right up until the moment it was wrong. Keeping the consequential things
behind a person is what makes the rest of it safe to hand over.
